Sarisbury
The ward consists of Sarisbury, Swanwick, Lower Swanwick and Burridge. It has a largely rural character, much of the land being cultivated in small horticultural units. The River Hamble bounds the ward from the north down to the south west. To the south is Holly Hill Country Park which provides an area for recreations such as walking, horse-riding and picnicking. The Bursledon Brickworks are located within Sarisbury; these were famous for their wire-cut bricks, 20 million a year being made at the peak of production.
