Bedhampton
This is a growing residential area a mile West of Havant with the old village lying just off the main road. The Church of St. Thomas has a notable Norman chancel arch and there was a Saxon church here, mentioned in the Domesday Book. The Manor House nearby is now mainly Nineteenth Century but some older work remains in the centre of the building. One striking house is the 'Elms', an eighteenth century building with a castle-like appearance.
