Walking in Hampshire

Hamble to Hillhead

At Titchfield Haven National Nature Reserve the reedbeds, saltings and marshes attract rare and varied birds. Equipped with hides, a tea room and a visitor centre the Reserve has a high reputation for birdwatching.

Beyond stretches large areas of undeveloped open farmland shielded from the sea by the low sand cliffs of Chilling and Bronwich.

From the mouth of the River Hamble walk north until you reach the ferry to take you to Warsash.
