Location
Merton Rise was formerly known as North Popley and is situated to the north of Basingstoke. It lies between Popley Way to the south, the A340 to the west and Chineham Lane to the east, with Sherbourne Road dividing it from north to south.
The site lies approximately 2 kilometres from Basingstoke's railway station and town centre that features a new shopping complex, Festival Place and Haymarket Theatre.
