Residential Development
This is being developed in five phases from 2006 to 2011. Each phase has its own character based on the guidance set out in its master plan and will include between 50 and 200 new homes. These are being designed and constructed in a contemporary style focused around community orientated open spaces and streets. A number of homes are designated "affordable" in accordance with a site wide strategy to meet an agreed target. These will vary in terms of mix, size and tenure.
In Phase 2, a small site has been set aside for 17 highly sustainable eco-homes which will meet level 5 code for sustainable homes criteria.
