Timings and Events
The development of Merton Rise has already begun with the completion of the Everest Community School and Phase 1of the residential development Completion of the whole project in anticipated in 2011/2012. A programme of the main events is indicated as follows:
October 2005:
Launch of Merton Rise including Phase 1comprising 166 residential units
October 2006:
Launch of Phase 2 including 320 residential unts and mixed use neighbourhood centre
April 2007:
Work begins on site to construct Phase 1 residential units
September 2007:
Opening of Everest Community College
October 2007:
Launch of Phase 3 including 240 residential units and Employment land
April 2008:
Launch of final phases 4 and 5 providing a further 220 residential units
