It is anticipated that Merton Rise will have regular bus services and it has been designed so that all areas of development are within 4 minutes walk from a bus stop. There is also be a network of routes for pedestrians and cyclists. These and other steps help to connect Merton Rise with the wider area and ensure that movement in and around the development can take place without an over-reliance on cars.
