What We Do

• We produce minerals and waste planning policy with Portsmouth and Southampton City Councils the New Forest National Park Authority.and the South Downs National Park Authority

• We determine planning applications for mineral and waste management developments and County Council proposals such as schools etc.

• We monitor (and enforce when required) mineral and waste management sites to ensure compliance with approved plans and to control unauthorised developments.

What We Don't Do

Householder planning applications and queries concerning neighbourhood developments should be addressed to the local District or City Council office, this table should assist further in explaining the roles of County and District
