County Planning

Public

The County Council works in partnership with Portsmouth and Southampton city councils and the national park authorities (New Forest and South Downs [April 2011]) to process applications for mineral and waste developments and the County Council’s own planning applications, including for schools and libraries.

Draft Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan published

The draft Plan has now been published by the partner authorities for a six week period for representations on its 'soundness'. Following this period the draft Plan will be submitted to the Secretary of State alongside the representations. An independent Planning Inspector will then consider the draft Plan at Public Examination on its 'soundness'.

The period for making representations runs from 7 November 2011 to 19 December 2011, after which representations will not be accepted.

The draft Plan, its supporting evidence, and representations forms will be available online, at the partner authority offices, and at local libraries from 7 November 2011.
