Summary of findings
Information on the services directly available to stroke survivors in the county is currently incomplete. These grants are made from the National Stroke Grant in order to develop an informed response to the National Stroke Strategy.
It is important to ensure that these services are assessed by those who use the services and to achieve this, a further grant is recommended to provide training and support to service users to undertake this work
No reliable data as to whether people from minority communities access sensory services in a comparable way to other communities
