Hampshire County Council is improving the way in which we can make sure you receive the service you need and enable us to contact you, for example in bad weather, if your carer is delayed.
We are asking your carers to phone and tell us that they have started and ended their visit to you. This will allow us to record the time your carer spends with you.
There will be no cost to you - the calls will appear on your telephone bill but you will not be charged for the calls
This new approach will help us make sure everyone is receiving the amount of care that has been agreed. It will also mean that we, and the care agencies, are better able to keep in contact with you to make sure you know when your carer will arrive.
This new approach will not mean any change to the amount of service that you already receive.
There may be times when it is difficult for carers to log out:
In these circumstances the service provider can manually enter details into Ezitracker and update the system to record times spent with you.
If you do not have a telephone or would prefer that the carer does not use your personal telephone, there are other ways that the care worker can record the details of their visits.
Alternative options can be discussed with you and the agency providing your care and will include the use of a code box which will enable the carer to record their attendance.
