The Charitable Shopmobility schemes across UK wish to help people who have a mobility difficulty to benefit by using a scooter. Shopmobility services are found in over 300 town centres. They are often run by volunteers who just want to help people get about independently.
A DVD is available which will introduce you to using scooters and shopmobility services. You will be able to assess if a scooter is suitable for you. It will also give useful training and guidance for using a scooter and staying safe. It will help you if you are considering buying a scooter.
