Looking for employment?
If your hearing loss/Deafness is causing difficulty in seeking employment then you might benefit from meeting with a Disability Employment Advisor.
They are often able to provide information and communication support (including lip speakers, note takers or BSL / English interpreters) on CV writing, interview practice, completing application forms and where to find job advertisements.
In addition, the Disability Employment Advisor can refer you to the Access to work scheme

If you are experiencing issues in your job as a result of your hearing loss/Deafness, then a Disability Employment Advisor can offer you information on ways to make your work environment more accessible and can also inform you of what your rights and entitlements are.
