Service user forum

There is a very active service user safeguarding forum in Hampshire which meets twice a year. It tells people what safeguarding is, lets them know what they should do if they are being hurt or if they know someone who is being hurt and also allows them to share ideas with other service users. There are visiting speakers who give information to help people keep themselves safe.

    Expertise in residential and nursing home care. Runs an advice line for older people, carers and relations.

  • Domestic Violence Helpline
    If you or someone you know is experiencing or has experienced physical, emotional or sexual violence in the home, the Women's Aid 24hr national Domestic Violence helpline can you you support, help and information. You do not have to be in an emergency situation to contact the helpline.

    Provides advice and support to older people in residential, nursing homes or hospitals, and their relatives.
