The HC3S Training and Development team delivers training for a Food Safety Level 2 qualification across Hampshire County Council’s Catering Service.
This course is scheduled over 1 day and is a six hour CIEH Level 2 (guided learning) course, and is open to all Hampshire County Council staff.
This training is required by all food handlers to deliver a safe food service. The definition of a food handler is 'any person in a food business who handles food, whether opened or packaged (food includes drink and ice)'. This could include, for example:
School teachers delivering cookery lessons
School PTA members involved in food handling
Nurseries, Children/Activity Centres providing their own catering
£45.00 per candidate will be charged to join an existing course, the cost includes tuition, book and certification. The courses are only open to Hampshire County Council staff and will have a maximum of 10 attendees per course.
Bespoke courses can be arranged for you at a cost of £30.00 per person, if you provide the venue, refreshments, lunch and a minimum of 6 candidates.
