Services for Young Children (SfYC) are here to support parents, carers, families; and everyone working in childcare and early years education. Our aim is to ensure that Hampshire's young children have access to everything they need for the best start in life.
Hampshire County Council is undertaking a parental survey to understand the future demand for 30 hours free childcare. We want to hear the views and experiences of parents/carers to help shape the delivery of the Government's extended childcare offer for September 2017. We would welcome understanding; particularly the views from parents/carers of children with additional needs (including special educational needs or disability).
The consultation closes on Thursday 30 June.
There is additional funding available to early years education providers to support the development, learning and care of eligible 3 and 4 year olds who attend their setting to access their free early years education place. See information for parents/ guardians or information for providers.
2 Year Old early years education is available countywide for eligible families - for more information and to apply using the Early Years Checker see parents/ carers.
