About us

Hampshire County Council’s Family Support Service (FSS) is part of the ‘early help’ provision for Hampshire.

It is run by the County Council for families with:

We provide a joined-up, whole-family service to those who have high levels of need.

What help can we offer

We provide the following services to families who meet the threshold for Early Help;

Your voice and views are important and we want to make sure they are heard and understood.

We will work alongside you and your family to find out exactly what concerns you and what support you need, building on the strengths you already have.

Talk to someone who is already in contact with your family. This might be a health visitor, teacher, or community worker.

Staff at our telephone contact centre will be able to advise on the most appropriate support dependent on the needs of the family.
