A joint report from the Director of Culture, Communities and Business Services (CCBS) and the Director of Economy, Transport and Environment (ETE) seeking approval to jointly progress the design and procurement of a 25,000 square foot speculative building on behalf of the Homes and Communities Agency. The funding will be made available through a proportion of Growing Places loan, which has already been received by Hampshire County Council.
Reviewing the reduced budget available for Passenger and Community Transport and considering how it should be spent to best match community priorities following the public consultation and response to tenders by the transport operators.
Two separate software contracts, one with IBM and the other with Microsoft, are due for renewal in the coming months as part of business as usual for the delivery of IT services. This expenditure has been anticipated and appropriate budget provision made. Where possible IT seek to use non-proprietary software but current services are heavily dependent on:
- IBM products to support Hantsfile (principally Document Manager) and Storage (Tivoli Storage Manager).
