Rate Card for the Printed Catalogue
The advertising sales for the 2013-14 Catalogue of Goods and Services are now closed. If you are interested in advertising in our 2014-15 edition please contact Richard Fox at Bow House Limited or contact the relevant Buyer at County Supplies. Sales for the 2014-15 edition will commence in summer 2013. The rate card for 2013-14 is shown below for guidance.
Notes
- Advertisers need only make one booking to appear in both editions of the Catalogue of Goods and Services.
- Advertisement space sales are operated on County Supplies' behalf by Bow House Limited. To book space or make enquiries, please e-mail Richard Fox, Sales and Marketing Manager at Bow House Limited.
- Technical advice and support on file formats for advertisements is available, free of charge, from Bow House Limited.
- Prices can be quoted by Bow House for designing and producing digital artwork.
- Some advertisement layouts, which refer to contracted arrangements with County Supplies, may require space for customer information on how to place the order.

If you are an agency producing artwork on behalf of the advertiser please check with your client which measurements should apply. Any artwork that is supplied at the wrong size will be rejected. Bleed pages are not acceptable.

Format
Mac format files are essential.

PDFs
At least 300dpi.

QuarkXpress 6 or earlier
Fully made up, 'Collect for Output' pages. Text, tints and high resolution scans in position.

Illustrator CS3 or Freehand 10
Images must be placed and in CMYK mode.

Colours
Convert all Pantones to CMYK or process (check logos created in Freehand or Illustrator for Pantone Colours). Black text must be 100% black rather than 4-colour (i.e. set the color setting to C=0, M=0, Y=0, K=100%).

Images
At least 300dpi TIF or EPS files in CMYK format. Compressed files in LZW are not acceptable. Please indicate if clipping paths have been used.

Fonts
Must be PostScript and all fonts must be included with the artwork. TrueType fonts are NOT acceptable.

Logos
Ideally vector graphics created in Illustrator CS3 or earlier or Freehand 10. If this is not possible a high resolution scan (300dpi) will suffice.

Supplying artwork
If sending files on CD please include a colour printout. Please label the CD with the company name and catalogue name.

Stock
FSC certified paper.

Readership
22,500 readership. Purchasers and specifiers in education, adult services, fire and police services, local government, community and voluntary organisations.
