Key Stage 1 - County and National Summary Information
All children in maintained primary schools are required to be assessed by teachers against the National Curriculum in reading, writing, speaking and listening, mathematics and science when they reach the end of Key Stage 1 (typically at age 7). They are expected to reach Level 2.
