Are you a senior teacher aspiring to become a deputy/assistant headteacher? Making Headway will give you a clear understanding of both the challenges and rewards of this role.
A combination of centre based days and afternoon visits to schools will provide the opportunity to explore values and educational philosophy, talk informally to existing headteachers and network and share practice with colleagues. There is also a practice application and interview session. This course will help you gain a greater understanding of your professional strengths, develop your leadership skills and give you the confidence to take the ‘next step’.
