Primary Support - The Behaviour Support Team
Working together to support children in school
The Behaviour Support Team (BST) works proactively to support children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties in school. We work predominantly at primary school level and on transition from primary School (KS2) to secondary school (KS3).
The Behaviour Support Team:
- works collaboratively with a range of disciplines to promote a ‘whole child’ perspective
- provides early intervention and preventative work at whole school, group and individual level
- promotes the development of positive learning environments, at home and in school
- works towards ensuring the implementation of the five outcomes of Every Child Matters.
