Workshop on Tuesday 20 March, 10am to 2pm, introducing learners to a form of abstract art and with step by step instructions and demonstrations you will be able to express your own ideas and complete a small abstract picture.
No previous knowledge is necessary just an open mind. This workshop is suitable for all abilities.
Apron to protect your clothing because acrylic paint cannot be washed out of clothing.
Water colour paper 25cmx25cm, fluid acrylics (3 x primary colours or 3 colours of your choice), beige acrylic, black Indian ink, palette, mark making tools like brushes/sticks/sponges etc., kitchen roll, thin card the size of a credit card, tracing paper, stippling sponge, water bottle spray, masking fluid, acrylic gloss medium.
Please bring what you can and anything else can be purchased on the day from the tutor at a small fee.
This course could lead on to other painting and drawing workshops.
This course is aimed at people that have less than a GCSE grade C equivalent qualification or are in receipt of a means tested benefit or whose health and wellbeing will benefit from attending. Attendance is expected at each session to ensure that you get the most out of your learning experience and to minimise disruption for other learners.
