On this course you will learn the basics of watercolour painting or expand on your current knowledge in a fun, safe and friendly atmosphere. No experience necessary, just bags of enthusiasm and embrace happy mistakes and the "trial & error" technique.
The tutor will prepare different exercises during the course (these are always optional as you might desire to develop your own individual project), these exercises are normally 2 to 5 sessions long.
The proposed exercises will be based on a particular watercolour technique (usually incorporating other media) or subject (if you want to work with a particular technique different from the one proposed that is absolutely fine).
During the course learners can also propose a particular technique or subject as part of the Course Scheme. You will need to bring art materials you wish to work with.
Please pick up a list of items we recommend for the course at Fleet library or contact the library and we can email it.
