To receive a report of the Commissioner detailing his proposed precept for 2013/14.

8. Public Participation in Future Public Meetings of the Hampshire Police and Crime Panel

To agree a preferred option for public participation at future public meetings of the Panel.

To confirm the remaining dates for 2012/13, and to note forthcoming meetings for 2013/14.

Report and recommendations of the Hampshire Police and Crime Panel in respect of the proposed appointment of Deputy Chief Constable Andy Marsh to the role of Chief Constable of Hampshire Constabulary.

1. Confirmation Hearing for appointment to the role of Chief Constable of Hampshire Constabulary

Following the intention of the Hampshire Police and Crime Commissioner to notify the Hampshire Police and Crime Panel of the proposed appointment of a preferred candidate to the role of Chief Constable of Hampshire Constabulary, for the Hampshire Police and Crime Panel to hold a Confirmation Hearing, in accordance with Schedule 8 of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011.

3. Closed Session to discuss proposed appointment to the role of Chief Constable of Hampshire Constabulary

Following the intention of the Hampshire Police and Crime Commissioner to notify the Hampshire Police and Crime Panel of the proposed appointment of a preferred candidate to the role of Chief Constable of Hampshire Constabulary, for the Hampshire Police and Crime Panel to hold a closed session to agree its recommendation to the Hampshire Police and Crime Commissioner.
