HC3S, part of Hampshire County Council, is the in house catering provider. We use seasonal ingredients that are sourced locally to produce quality meals to high standards. This goes hand in hand with the high customer service standards we expect from our 1,800 employees. We work with our key suppliers to bespoke and source specialist products from our menus. We hold the Good Egg, Good Chicken and Good Pig awards from compassion in world farming.
HC3S is the largest provider of school meals in Hampshire, supplying hot school lunches to 449 primary schools. We also cater for 28 primary schools in Wiltshire, six schools in Dorset, one in Southampton and one in Portsmouth. Nutritionally balanced meals of high quality are essential ingredients for HC3S's success and we guarantee our core menu will be freshly prepared everyday with a choice of two hot dishes. Where we deliver meals to other schools, the same standards apply. We do not produce meals that travel lengthy food miles or have been prepared far in advance so we know meals are still fresh when children eat them. A range of desserts that include yoghurt, fruit, cheese and biscuits and fruit juice plus daily salad and additional bread are provided daily.
Since 2005 we have been accredited with the Hyperactive Children's Support Group's Highest Award for Excellence in School Catering for removing a number of additives from primary school meals and we continue to be re-accredited annually. The HC3S primary menu and kitchens are completely nut free.
HC3S cater for 21 secondary schools across Hampshire, providing healthy, balanced and attractive choices for Secondary students and school staff. Listening to what our customers allows us to create a tailored food service unique to each school. Whether it is traditional dishes or creative hot snacks, our executive Chef and Managers work closely to keep our food on trend. Students enjoy the food they want to eat and our clients get a cost effective food service that delivers quality and originality.
Catering for both Hampshire County Council at The Castle Winchester and Eastleigh Borough Council located in the heart of Eastleigh. Whether it is the stylish staff restaurant, both the high street style coffee shops, the provision of refreshments for meetings or even a sophisticated prestigious event, our skilled Chefs are driven to create meals which are freshly prepared, healthy, fairly priced and delicious.
With locations throughout Hampshire including Hampshire Country Parks, Fareham Library, Winchester and Basingstoke Discovery Centres and Calshot Activities Centre, we reflect and promote local history, nature and the environment. We use fresh locally sourced produce to create our delicious range of dishes including that all important coffee fix made from coffee roasted and blended to our recipe in Southampton. Whether customers choose to sit outside enjoying the sun or relax in the main café areas our menus reflect the surroundings, designed to reflect the individual venue.
