The Gardens are a wonderful environment for families. The exciting play features are suitable for all abilities and include a fabulous tree house, a relaxing flying carpet swing and bamboo tunnels with a wobbly bridge. We also offer seasonal, self-guided activity trails. The Children’s Education Garden encourages discovery of the natural environment in a fun way. Sorry no ball games, children's scooters and bikes, except in the outside picnic areas. See Families and Children's activities.
Our tours suit all needs and interest. They start and finish at the Pavilion and last 90 minutes. You will explore many seasonal highlights and hidden aspects of the collection. Special evening tours, led by a member of our horticultural team are also available as part of our events programme.
