A new webpage is being created in response to a request from one of our promoters, who thought it would be a good idea to let others know about acts which have appeared on Hog the Limelight in the recent past, but who are not on the current county supported programme. We have not included costs in the list, as situations may have changed.
Irish Harp & Guitar - Maire Ni Chathasaigh & Chris Newman
Maire is one of the most influential, interesting and original players of the Irish harp today, with a clear, warm and expressive voice. Chris, one of the UK’s more extraordinary and revered acoustic guitarists, has a great line in witty introductions. Together why perform a breathtaking blend of Irish and Scottish music, swing jazz, baroque and bluegrass, they tour all over the world.

Mervyn Stutter - Comedy and Song Cabaret
A very great favourite of Hog villages and hundreds of venues up and down the country. His annual month stint “Pick of the Fringe” in Edinburgh sees repeat visits from many of his loyal audience. His shows are always topical as he celebrates the trivial and attacks the absurd with humour and clever song on the guitar.
Hank Wangford - The No Hall Too Small Tour
A class act which is brilliant and hilarious… if you haven’t come across Hank before, be prepared for heart warming parodies of the great country and western genre….His website says it all. His fans are legion and often follow the act around the country.
