Deposit collections
This scheme makes it easy for extended schools and other similar organisations to retain a small collection of adult books and spoken word material on site.
There is a charge of £200 per year for this service and to use the scheme a representative of the organisation must join the library as a ‘Deposit Collection Member’. Library staff will use their skill and knowledge to select a suitable collection, of up to 100 items, from available stock which will then be delivered direct to the venue. The collection will be changed on a quarterly basis.
Please note, in the case of care homes or sheltered housing, if you nominate someone to visit the library and select the items you want, (collecting and returning them), you may register to use the FREE Group Membership Scheme.
