What's on

Chatterbooks
Aged between 8 and 12? Come and join our new book grop whre you can chat about books, see new books, read and write reviews, visit websites, discover new authors, learn library skills and take part in quizzes, activities and craftes. It is free of charge and good fun.

  • First Tuesday of the month, 4.30pm -5.30 pm.

Knit & Natter
A friendly group for beginners to experts – swap tips and ideas and natter while you knit! Wool, knitting needles and pattern books provided and feel free to bring your own. Free to join - refreshments provided for a small charge of 50p (tea/coffee/biscuits)

  • Meeting every Tuesday 10am - 11.30am

Rhyme Time
Join us for this friendly and interactive session for the under-5s and their carers. We sing familiar songs and action rhymes, learning new ones along the way. We provide percussion, props and introduce new instruments. Sharing music and songs helps to develop a child's confidence; develops social interaction; builds language and listening skills and brings fun into their day. A lovely way to bond with your child! Free to join.

  • Meeting every Friday 10.30am - 11.00am (except in school summer holidays)

Sticky Stories – New for 2014!
Pop along for this popular story and craft session - listen to a specially chosen story, followed by a ‘make and take’ session. We’ll create a piece of art or craft, based on the book, for you to take home and continue your own story! Each month we will have a different theme - check for updates on our Facebook page  . Free of charge with materials provided. Aimed at 4-7years old but all ages welcome - parents/carers to stay with young children please.
