Minerals and Waste development is essential for a sustainable and prosperous Hampshire. However, in order to minimise the impact on communities we must prepare sound planning policy, which is then used to guide and manage planning applications.
Developments can affect local communities, which is why we aim to be as transparent as possible. The public examination of the draft Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan has reached the next stage after a number of public hearing sessions were held at Hampshire County Council offices, Elizabeth II Court, Winchester on 6 - 8 and 11 - 15 June 2012. Representations are welcome on the soundness of the proposed changes, representations on the remainder of the Plan are not required.
