We are keen to maintain clarity and transparency in the Mineral and Waste planning process doing so allows us to incorporate local views into our work, helping to deliver the right development in the right place at the right time.

The Statement of Community Involvement describes how we will involve the local community in preparing and reviewing the various parts of the Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan, and in determining planning applications

It has been a long established practice of the County Council to support the creation of local Site Liaison Panels comprising representatives of local communities, operating companies and the regulatory authorities.
