Who Said What?

The comments from Hampshire communities are considered throughout the plan making process and can help us to gain a greater understanding of local issues.

Official consultation on plans occurs over two rounds.

• The first gives the community opportunity to comment on options for the plan and contribute information necessary for writing the plan.

• The second round is much more focussed and asks for views on the 'Soundness' of the plan; this considers whether the final document is Justified, Effiective and Consistent with National Policy.

Have Your Say Consultation

The consultation on our approach to Planning for Hampshire's Minerals and Waste has now closed although the consultation document and its supporting documents can still be viewed at the following website http://consult.hants.gov.uk/portal/.  

Those responses received during the consultation period (17 February - 24 March) will be used to inform a report on the main issues raised.  This report will assist in the preparation of the draft Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan which will be considered by the County Council and the partner authorities later this year; to see how this fits into our work schedule please visit our timetable.
