The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) forms the basis of the County Council’s procedures for community engagement in the preparation of minerals and waste plans or working on minerals, waste and County Council planning applications. The SCI sets out how Hampshire will involve local communities and interested parties in minerals and waste decision-making.
The most recent Hampshire SCI was adopted by County Council at its meeting on 2 November 2017 and is available to view or download below.
NOTE: It is important to note that the adopted Hampshire SCI does not cover the administrative area of any other of the Local Planning Authorities in Hampshire. Each Local Planning Authority will have their own statement which will set out their own approach to community involvement within their administrative area. Hampshire's other Minerals and Waste Planning Authorities SCIs can be viewed by selecting the relevant link or logo below.

Voluntary and community groups
Established Residents Associations and Action Groups
Business, including minerals and waste operators
District, Parish and Town Councils
Statutory organisations; and
Marginalised communities and groups
