If you have a complaint or suggestion about a bus service you should contact the appropriate bus company in the first instance. If you are not satisfied with the bus company's response or the company has not responded within a reasonable time contact Bus Users UK. They are a non-statutory body offering independent review of complaints arising from the operation of local bus services and scheduled coach services. Write to them with as much detail as possible including copies of correspondence with the bus or coach company.
The County Council only has direct influence over bus services supported under contract so is only able to offer limited help if the complaint relates to a commercial service. If you wish to contact the County Council, you can telephone us on 0300 555 1376* or email email@example.com
In the case of a complaint, it is helpful if you make contact as soon as possible. It is useful if you retain your ticket from your journey as this will assist in the investigation of the matter.
*Calls to 0300 numbers are included in call packages, or charged at the same rate as 01 and 02 numbers. Costs may vary depending on your telecoms provider and whether you are calling from a landline or mobile. Further information about call charges can be found at www.ofcom.org.uk
