The SCS sets out quality of life issues, key trends that impact on Hampshire and 11 long term ambitions to achieve the vision that "Hampshire continues to prosper, providing greater opportunity for all without risking the environment."
Minerals and Waste Development Framework
Hampshire County Council is a Minerals and Waste Planning Authority and is responsible for preparing ‘Plans’ for the development of mineral and waste management infrastructure in Hampshire. The 'Hampshire Minerals and Waste Development Framework' includes a number of Development Plan Documents (DPDs) that contain policies and proposals for mineral extraction or processing and waste management up to the year 2020.
Local Transport Plan
The County Council's Local Transport Plan aims to improve quality of life, protect the environment and secure economic prosperity for Hampshire.
Waste Management Strategy
Information relating to the County Council's role in waste disposal and recycling. Project integra is a partnership, working to provide an integrated approach to the collection, treatment and disposal of municipal waste in Hampshire.
Landscape Strategy
The Landscape Strategy provides an understanding of landscape character and sets out guidelines for the future management of each landscape type in the County.
