Hampshire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1)a of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow for works in connection with installation of media hub equipment.
EFFECT OF ORDER: will be to introduce a 7.5 tonne weight limit restriction on that length of U322 Chapel Hill between its roundabout junction with U322 Kingsclere Road / U322 Sherborne Road and its roundabout junction with the U322 Alencon link road / U322 Winterthur Way, an approximate distance of 354.5 metres (including the unnamed 21.5 metre link road leading from Winterthur Way).
The following roads will be temporarily closed sometime during the next 18 months.

On the 25 May 2018 Hampshire County Council confirmed this Order. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding a public restricted byway commencing at a junction with the Devils Highway (Point A on the Order plan), proceeding in a south-westerly direction to a junction with Riseley Mill Road (Point B on the Order plan)
On the 4 June 2018 Hampshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath in the Parish of Shedfield from a line running in a south-westerly direction from SU 56698 12841 to SU 56620 12719 to a line running in a southerly then south-westerly direction from SU 56698 12841 to SU 56620 12719, as shown on the Order map.
