SMEs make up 99% of UK businesses and Hampshire County Council is fully committed to supporting its local businesses and SMEs. The Council currently spends around £402m with SMEs (61% of external spend) and £396m with Hampshire based businesses (60% of external spend). The Council continually aims to make its contracts accessible to SMEs and ensures that our procurement processes are fair, transparent and are open to all.

Hampshire County Council have been working in partnership with Hampshire Fire and Rescue and Hampshire Constabulary since 2011. All three organisations current tendering opportunities can be found use the link below. The system is free to register and allows suppliers to set up alerts for specific contract categories.
The South East Business Portal provides further contracting opportunities for suppliers to engage with other local authorities across the South East region. It is free to register as a supplier and the portal has an alert service to let you know when new contract opportunities are posted which relate to the product/service areas you provide.
