Temporary prohibition of traffic in Stoneham Lane, Eastleigh
Temporary road closures and a temporary speed limit for safety reasons to allow advance works for the Whitehill-Bordon Relief Road to be carried out. The order comprises two principal closures, at Lindford Road and Farnham Road, which will not occur simultaneously. The current traffic island at the Farnham Road / Broxhead Farm Road junction will be removed and re-instated permitting right turns to enable alternative traffic routes whilst the closures are in place.

Hampshire County Council, having made an Order under Section 14(1)a of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to allow for works in connection with the East Anton Major Development Area, has been directed by the Secretary of State for Transport that the order shall continue in force.
The effect of the Notice will be to allow Test Lane to be used as a diversion route.
