Hampshire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1)a of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow for works in connection with maintenance and repairs to the swing bridge.
Hampshire County Council, having made an Order under Section 14(1)b of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public, has been directed by the Secretary of State for Transport that the order shall continue in force.

Hampshire County Council has received a deposit under Section 31(6) of the Highways Act 1980 and under Section 15A(1) of the Commons Act 2006 for land adjacent to Otterbourne Grange, off Pitmore Road, Otterbourne, Hampshire, SO21 2HZ.
On the 13 October 2017 Hampshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.
