EFFECT OF ORDER: to reduce the existing 40 mph speed limit on Satchell Lane between its junction with Mursell Way and a point 106 metres north of its junction with St. Agatha's Road, an approximate distance of 1,473 metres.
EFFECT OF ORDER: to reduce the existing 40 mph speed limit to 30 mph between a point 46 metres north west of its junction with Upton Lane in a southwards direction to the city boundary with Southampton at Redbridge Lane, an approximate distance of 1,310 metres.
Due to damage resulting from a vehicle collison a building in this road is now in a condition that presents a danger. Following two emergency road closure notices an order has now been made extending the temporary closure until work to make the building safe can be carried out and completed.

The Hampshire County Council are about to publish the proposals to improve the A27 The Avenue, by widening its northern side along the frontage of 16 to 24 (evens) The Avenue, Fareham. These are contained in an Order under the provisions of the Highways Act 1980 and the Acquisition of Land Act 1981, entitled as above. The Notice is to be published in the Daily Echo and Portsmouth News newspapers on the 9th and 16th January 2015 and The Hampshire Independent on the 9th and 16th January 2015. The Order, and associated documents, is to be deposited locally for public inspection until 30 January 2015 and is open for objection and comment, to be received before 30 January 2015.
