Hampshire County Council proposes making a traffic order as follows:
Temporary overnight closures of the above roads to carry out remedial problems.
Hampshire County Council has received a deposit under Section 31(6) of the Highways Act 1980 and under Section 15A(1) of the Commons Act 2006 for land at the Sopley Estate, Sopley, near Christchurch, Hampshire, BH23 7AX.
EFFECT OF ORDER: Will be to extend the existing 30 mph speed limit on Minchens Lane by approximately 185 metres in a northerly direction in line with new development in the area.
EFFECT OF ORDER: will be to introduce a No Right Turn out of the road leading from the new development into Minchens Lane and a No Left Turn from Minchens Lane into the road leading to the new development, for safety reasons.
On the 28 March 2017 Hampshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under section 119A of the Highways Act 1980 (as amended by the Transport and Works Act 1992).
Temporary Road Closures to allow carriageway re-surfacing works to be carried out under HCC's Operation Resilience programme.
