Opportunities for new childcare businesses in Hampshire
Public Meetings from Hampshire County Council in Basingstoke and Deane, East Hampshire, Eastleigh, Fareham, Gosport, Hart, Havant, Isle of Wight, New Forest, Outside of Hampshire, Portsmouth, Rushmoor, Southampton, Test Valley, Winchester areas.
Hampshire County Council has identified the need for new early years and childcare education settings in a number of areas across the County. In some areas Council-owned land has been identified as potential sites for long-term lease and in other key areas premises are needed to be found. Private investors and businesses are sought to work in partnership with the Council to establish high quality and affordable full day care and early years education tailored to the needs of local communities. Capital and revenue grant funding may be available to support the establishment of these new settings. All developments are subject to obtaining necessary planning consents and providers meeting Hampshire County Council’s property, legal, and early years education terms and conditions together with providing agreed investment and approved business plans.
