A temporary speed restriction of 40 mph for safety and traffic mangement reasons in connection with the Jalsa Salana event.
Hampshire County Council, having made an Order under Section 14(1)b of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public or serious damage to the road, has been directed by the Secretary of State for Transport that the order shall continue in force.
The effect of the Order will be close Above Bar Street.
Hampshire County Council, owing to works in connection with surface improvements, considers that the closure to the road as specified below should come into force without delay.
