You can apply to the County Council for permission to have a dropped kerb installed on the road adjacent to your property.
Following the impact of serious flooding on Hampshire’s roads, the Highways service is currently prioritising resources to dealing with urgent safety defects across the network. We apologise that non-urgent work, such as the provision of dropped kerbs for vehicular access, will be delayed and it will take longer than usual to deal with applications.

Please telephone 0845 603 5633. Please explain to the call-taker that you are applying to install a dropped kerb vehicle crossing at your property and you are calling to make a card payment to the Highway Office that will deal with your application.
Applications are dealt with by the highway office that is closest to the location of the proposed activity, see the table below.
