Our new interactive mapping tool will help you get out into the countryside, plan your routes and make your own maps. View information on the following datasets, which are shown on our maps:
Search by postcode, place name, grid reference, right of way or countryside site. You can click on an item on the map to find out more detail and follow links to further information.
By downloading our datasets to your computer or mobile device, you can then add to software such as Google Earth to plan routes and make your own maps. We currently have the following datasets available to download from our Open Data pages:
Rights of Way
Long Distance Routes
Off Road Cycle Routes
Online help video - How to download and use the KML mapping data
To download our other data see our Open Data pages.
We’re looking forward to hearing what you think of this service and any improvements you can suggest.
