Therapeutic support for pupils.
Teacher and teaching assistant support.
An increased understanding of children with behavioural, social and emotional difficulties.
Support with the development of strategies to manage challenging behaviour.
Holistic approach to the needs of children and their families.
Ultimately raise the level of achievement for vulnerable children.
Support and promotion of partnership with parents and other agencies.
Share and disseminate examples of good practice in behaviour management and develop an inclusive ethos/climate.
Support of school improvement in schools, school clusters and LCPs.
Charges are based on a daily rate and will be dependant on the level of intervention agreed at the initial assessment meeting.
An initial assessment is undertaken, which includes the use of the Emotional and Behavioural Developmental (EBD) scale for individual pupils. An agreed action plan outlines the details and timings for the intervention.
On completion, evaluation forms are sent out to all relevant parties including an evaluation of pupil progress. The EBD scale is also used to measure development. This information is used to inform planning and development.
Customer feedback is used to improve and develop this service, in line with the Quality Assurance Framework for Services for Schools.
Mechanisms for collecting the views of customers include the annual satisfaction survey and complaints, compliments and comments.
