Increasing social inclusion and promoting improved educational outcomes for vulnerable pupils who may be involved in substance misuse, including solvents, alcohol and illegal drugs.
Targeting young people aged 10 to 16 years.
Individual support at Tier 2 level for young people who may be engaged in substance misuse.
Information exchange sessions for parents/carers and schools staff on substance misuse awareness issues.
Support for school drugs co-ordinators.

Charges are based on a daily rate and will be dependant on the level of intervention agreed at the initial assessment meeting.
A typical intervention for a young person would be up to six sessions of between 40 minutes and an hour.
A comprehensive initial assessment is undertaken to clearly identify the needs of the young person.
Following the initial assessment an appropriate intervention is identified. Interventions are evaluated through feedback on completion.
Customer feedback is used to improve and develop this service, in line with the Quality Assurance Framework for Services for Schools.
Mechanisms for collecting the views of customers include the annual satisfaction survey and complaints, compliments and comments.
