In 2012/13, Sport Hampshire & IOW’s funding for adult sport and physical activity (as a social activity, means of getting fit or weight management) has been devolved to local Sport and Physical Activity Alliances.

Sportivate logo

Sportivate is a national funding programme directly managed by Sport Hampshire & IOW on behalf of Sport England. It is designed to capture the excitement of the London 2012 Games to get teenagers and young adults (between 14-25 years)  more active; offering them the chance to find a sport they enjoy and one that they can continue to take part in locally on a regular basis.
