Research now shows that this increasingly popular sport is actually a powerhouse of all the core ingredients that doctors recommend for optimum physical and mental health and wellbeing. Here’s how…
1. It’s better than a fast and furious gym session
Walking around the golf course for a few hours is healthier than an intense session at the gym, playing 18 holes can burn just under 1000 calories as well as toning and strengthening muscles.
2. It can help combat stress
Playing in the fresh air and green spaces can help reduce your stress levels.
3. You can meet new people
Golf is a great way to meet new people and improve your social life.
