Tile Barn Centre

Activities

We offer a range of activities for both young people and adults.

Our qualified and experienced instructors ensure learning opportunities, challenge and adventure in a safe environment. All specialist equipment needed is provided.

Safety is our prime concern at Tile Barn and so we adhere to the stringent standards of Hampshire County Council. All Kayaking takes place under the direct supervision of qualified British Canoe Union Instructors and all our other activities are taught by appropriately qualified staff.

It is important that group leaders familiarise themselves with the physical requirements of the chosen activities. Participants should be physically able and have the appropriate aged related deveopmental skills. If there are any issues relating to physical disability or specific requirements then this information needs to be disclosed on the participants medical form, prior to the event. Alternatively you can contact the Centre for further advice.

Ultimately the instructor who is leading the activity, together with the group leader, will make individual assessments as to the participants suitability for activities. We make every effort to ensure inclusion, and an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all.
